・1978: Following in his father's footsteps, he opened Sugaya Internal Medicine Clinic.
・After serving as director of the Shida Medical Association and vice president of the Shida Medical Association,


 

Served as director of Shizuoka Prefecture Medical Association from 1998 until March 2019.
・Successfully served as National Insurance Examination Committee member and Social Insurance Examination Committee member
